Originally established in 1931 to protect a mere eleven elephants, the park has successfully transformed into a thriving ecosystem. Today, it boasts one of the highest densities of elephants globally, with over 700 Elephants roaming its vast landscapes. In addition to elephants, visitors can also spot lions, buffaloes, endangered black rhinos, spotted hyenas, various antelope species, zebras, and the distinctive Addo flightless dung beetle.
